How do I know the No Sweat company will not sell or share my personal information?


Bienestar International will NOT trade, sell, or give away the info you submit to us under any circumstances without your express emailed permission. Period. We sell shmatehs (i.e. apparel) -- not names.

Info Gathered...

In addition to the info that you submit to us voluntarily when you order from us or join our newsletter, we collect the following pieces of data. While processing your credit card a timestamp is created and your computer or router's IP address is recorded.  This is a standard practice required during e-commerce transactions in order to protect against fraud. The only use that is made of this data is to block fraudulent credit card processing (wherein identity thieves attempt to charge multiple stolen credit cards to determine their validity).

All info that is submitted to us is stored redundantly in fully secure locations.


Cookies...

No Sweat Apparel.com uses cookies on our site for one purpose only - and that's to process your order properly. Our shopping cart requires cookies to save the items you place in your basket until you checkout and to allow you to login to your account. This also allows you to leave the site and return (within 3 hours) and still maintain the items that you placed in your basket.  If you are directed to our site by one of our affiliates (from a No Sweat banner on their site, for instance), a cookie stores a reference to that affiliate while you're shopping here so that when you checkout the referring affiliate will get credit for recommending us. We do not use cookies for any other type of tracking or privacy compromising purpose.

If you have cookies disabled in your browser or in your firewall settings our cart we won't be able to successfully process your order.


If You Arrived via an Ad on Google...

No Sweat Apparel uses Google's Adword program to help spread the word about what we do. If you arrived here by way of clicking on a sponsored link on Google, a cookie was placed on your computer to let Google know that they directed you to us. This cookie is set to expire after 30 days and in that time it tracks what pages you visit on No Sweat Apparel and whether the link from Google leads to a sale. With regard to our No Sweat Survey...

If you fill out our No Sweat Survey the info that we receive is only used to gather aggregate opinions about how we should proceed with product development. While browser, IP address and operating system info is reported it is not used in any way other than to prevent spam assaults on the site. This info is not used for identification purposes.

With regard to our No Sweat E-cards...

When you send a No Sweat E-Card, it is stored on our server for 20 days to allow sufficient time for your recipient to view it on our site.  Following those 20 days, the card is purged.  The email addresses that you enter during the E-card generation process are not shared or used for solicitation purposes.  If, however, you would like to join our mailing list you may do so here.

With regard to No Sweat's "Share with a Friend" function...

As stated on the referral form - none of the addresses submitted during this process are added to a mailing list or used for marketing purposes.  This feature is offered only as a way for No Sweat visitors to share  the link to our site (and links to products on our site) with friends they think would appreciate them.  Aggregate records are kept of the usage of this function but these statistics are also not used for any marketing purpose.


Opt Out?

If at any point you would like us to destroy the data that we have in our records regarding your order(s) with us, let us know and we will do so once we can verify that the request is authentic. If you would like to be removed from the No Sweat Newsletter, you can do so here at any time.

The privacy policies which are currently in effect are inevitably subject to change.  Please check back every once in a while to see if there have been any modifications to our policies. Don't worry though, the changes will be related to the details of new features that we come to offer, not from a substantive change of values!
