What is Merino wool? Are your Merino wool products cruelty-free?
Merino wool is a special fine grade of wool that initially came from Merino sheep. It shares the characteristics of classic wool such as insulation from warmth or cold, the ability to quickly absorb and evaporate moisture, a quick trying time and resistance to wrinkling. What makes Merino wool special is its luxurious softness and itch-free, fine diameter fibers.
NOTE: Regarding the practice of Museling – Wigwam, our supplier, has agreed with PETA and will use only wool from farmers that DO NOT use that method!
