New Jersey Headwear / Unionwear

Unionwear.com was founded to promote union label hats made at headwear factories by workers represented by UNITE. They are union made, yet still can be competitive because they use a novel team incentive modular manufacturing system developed in conjunction with UNITE.

Union Wear is a good example of how to be an Internet-savvy manufacturer of good old, union-made (UNITE) apparel.

We like that in a company.

Their web site (http://www.unionwear.com) tells you not only how to get customized goods -- "down to the shape of the visor or the finish on a buckle" -- but  it also takes you on a graphic tour of the factory that makes their caps.
